a small update
this weekend i shot my first solo wedding with the d3. not once, NOT ONCE did i even think to put a flash on the camera. what the hell do i need flash for anymore! i'm still in post on those images, so nothing to see yet. so far, so good, though.
sunday we had our annual amy's birthday blowout. it was a prom theme this year, and i think it was our most successful party yet! we even set up the studio for prom portraits, so once the wedding shots are done, the party pictures will go up (probably on facebook, but i'm starting a new collection on my flickr for photos of friends).
and yesterday instead of cleaning up the house we decided to go shopping. we got amy a lot of new clothes (weddings pay well!) and we both got some new running shoes. i was going to at least post a picture of the new kicks, because, well, they're bad ass. i found a pair of new balance 410's in blue and yellow. but i have yet to find a picture of them online. just use your imagination, or come hang out with me sometime.
time to eat.
